WHAT FILE TYPES DO WE ACCEPT?
We accept PDF / PNG / JPEG (with no transparent background) and high-resolution.
HOW DURABLE ARE AUSTINDTF.COM TRANSFERS?
Very durable. Our transfers are built to last. Even after 50 times of washing, they’ll still look vibrant and new without cracking, peeling or fading.
DO THEY NEED A SPECIAL PRINTER OR EQUIPMENT?
Not at all– if you’re ordering transfers from AUSTIN DTF, you don’t need any special printer. We provide press-ready DTF transfers that you can apply with a standard heat press. Just grab your heat press and your garment, and you’re ready to go!
WHAT TYPE OF FABRIC CAN YOU USE?
Our transfers work on cotton, polyester, denim, fleece, and more! So basically, if it’s wearable, you can print on it!
CAN YOU USE YOUR OWN DESIGN?
Ofcourse! We accept custom artwork in standard formats, and our support team can help optimize your files for the best print result.
HOW FAST CAN YOU GET YOUR ORDER?
We do same-day Pick-Up. But please note: Our cut-off is usually 12 PM CST, but it can change. Check the website for the daily cut-off to qualify for same-day shipping.
CAN YOU ORDER JUST ONE TO TRY?
Absolutely! You can order just one transfer with any custom image, or try out our free sample. If you want to test the quality before committing.

Here’s the scoop:
- Once you place an order, we’ll send a confirmation email with our address (make sure to peek in your Spam folder just in case!)
- When your order is ready, you’ll get a “Processed” email, that’s your signal that it’s good to go.
- Your order will be waiting in a labeled bin to the right of our front door, right in front of the bigger garage door, so you can grab it quickly and easily.
- The best part? Pickup is available 24/7 once your order is marked complete. At AustinDTF, we keep things moving fast!

- Same day orders: Ready by 7 PM most days.
- Next-day turnaround: Place your order by 12 PM noon, and it’ll be ready by 7PM by the next business day.

But I get it, life throws curveballs. If you need to cancel before your order jumps into production, I’ll do my best to make it happen.
Here’s how cancellations work:
- 5% fee if your order hasn’t been downloaded yet (covers credit card fees + my time prepping your files).
- 10% fee if you used the Gang Sheet Builder and your file has already been downloaded (that plugin’s magic isn’t free!).
All final decisions on refunds are handled by Austin DTF.Thanks for trusting your prints to us. I promise your patience will pay off!
How do I activate my account?
Just head to the top-right of the website and click “My Account”
Type in your email, and we’ll send over a magic link so you can reset your password.
After you change your password, your account activates instantly, and you’re all set to upload gang sheets or build your own using our gang sheet creator.
Important: If you skip the password reset, the system won’t let you upload gang sheets yet.

When Will My DTF Transfer Arrive?
Shipping with Austin DTF
At Austin DTF, we primarily use UPS to deliver most of our custom DTF transfers and prints (you can check them out at UPS.com). If your order is placed before 12 PM noon, we do our best to get it printed, packed, and shipped the same day. During holidays or special situations, your order may ship the next business day instead.
But here’s some even better news! We’ve also partnered with USPS, and the best part? Shipping is FREE when you choose USPS at checkout. We know budgets matter, and we want everyone, everywhere, to experience AustinDTF.com’s fast, reliable service.
Once your order is ready, we’ll add the tracking number to your order notes on the website. You’ll see it right away, though the tracking may not update until UPS or USPS scans it at their hub.
So relax. Once Austin DTF tags your order and it’s out the door, it’s on its way to you quickly and safely, ready to bring your designs to life!
When Will My Austin DTF Order Arrive?
Austin DTF Shipping Guide
At Austin DTF, we primarily ship with UPS (www.UPS.com) to keep your custom DTF transfers, gang sheets, and prints fast, safe, and fully trackable. By default, your order will go out via UPS Ground.
We’re also excited to offer FREE USPS shipping (www.USPS.com)! Please note that this option can take up to 5 business days to arrive. Simply select USPS at checkout if this works best for you.
Need your prints faster? No worries! Just email us at austintexasdtf@gmail.com right after (or even before) placing your order, and we can upgrade your shipping and adjust the cost.
Here’s a quick guide to UPS shipping times once your order is in their hands (weekends not included):
- UPS Ground: 1–5 business days
- UPS 3-Day Select: 3 business days
- UPS 2nd-Day Air: 2 business days
- UPS Next Day Air: 1 business day (ZOOM!)
Heads up: Weekends don’t count toward delivery. UPS rests on Saturdays and Sundays too!
How tiny can my design be without affecting print quality?
How Small Can My Design Be?
Great question! When it comes to tiny designs, there’s a limit to keep everything pressing perfectly.
At Austin DTF, the smallest we recommend printing is 0.15 inches. Why? This size ensures there’s enough room for all the colors and the white underbase with choke to lay down properly, so the adhesive powder sticks and melts just right.
Can we sometimes go smaller? Sure, but we can’t guarantee perfect results if your design is too tiny. Keeping your artwork at 0.15 inches or larger gives the best adhesion and ensures your design looks sharp and vibrant on your garment. White tends to hold up best at smaller sizes, but results may vary.
Pro tip from Austin DTF: Always double-check your artwork before submitting your order. It’s important to make sure all details are big enough to print correctly, so your final product looks amazing!
Do My Prints Need to Be Mirrored Before Upload?
Austin DTF Says: No Mirroring Needed!
Great news! You don’t need to mirror your images before uploading.
With our DTF printing process, our smart software takes care of all the mirroring for you. When your prints arrive, simply cut them apart, press them onto your garment, and you’re good to go easy, stress-free, and ready to rock your designs!
Austin DTF Return & Refund Policy
How to Request a Return
Before sending anything back, you’ll just need to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). This helps us track your return quickly and accurately.
To start your request, email austintexasdtf@gmail.com and include:
- Your order date and order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the defective product
- Your preference: replacement, store credit, or refund
Once you receive your RMA number, write it clearly on the outside of your return package so our team can identify it right away.
What Qualifies for a Return
We only accept returns on defective transfers. This includes:
- Transfers that fail to adhere properly
- Transfers that crack or peel within the first 1–2 washes
- Misprints that were not caused by customer-submitted artwork
All returned items must be unused, in new condition, and in the original packaging.
Note: Once your package has been handed off to UPS/USPS/FedEx, we’re not responsible for delays or carrier-related damage.
What Does Not Qualify
We’re not able to offer refunds, reprints, or returns for:
- Color shifts caused by the original artwork
- Pixelation due to low-resolution files
- Spelling or design errors within customer-uploaded artwork
- White outlines or halos from semi-transparent pixels
- Carrier-damaged packages
- Gang sheet issues such as overlaps, ghosting, or errors within submitted/approved artwork
Return Timeframes
Refund requests: within 5 days of delivery
Exchanges or store credit: within 30 days of delivery
After 30 days, we’re unable to accept returns.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees.
Insurance may cover the product cost, but shipping charges are typically non-refundable.
Where to Send Your Return

- Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
- Ship it to the return address provided after your RMA is approved.
